The primary function of this beginner friendly course is to teach safe, effective, and legally/ethically informed application of the AR‑15 for home defense. This course is perfect for the new AR-15 owner or anyone that wants to shake the rust off.
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate absolute safe handling, loading/unloading, and malfunction clearance of an AR‑15.
Apply basic marksmanship & close‑quarters shooting skills appropriate for home defense.
Use a sling and compressed ready positions for rapid target acquisition in confined spaces.
Make informed, lawful decisions about use of force and implement safe storage/aftercare.
