Located in middle Tennessee, AP3X Training Solutions is owned and operated by an active duty law enforcement officer and certified defensive tactics instructor. We specialize in building/customizing firearms (frame work, slide work, cerakote) and offer civilians high level combative training. Please contact us if there's any way we can be of service to you.

In the middle TN area, there are many ranges that offer firearms classes including everything from concealed carry license to CQB. However, during such training the student has unrestricted access to his/her firearm. Similarly, there are many martial arts schools that offer a variety of disciplines in combat and/or sport. Students in this type of training generally do so without the involvement of a weapon (with exception to those traditional to the art).

We're here to bridge the gap! Our classes offer a combination of combative and/or firearm training with an intentional focus on only the most applicable scenarios for civilians.
Owner/Instructor Joey Salazar is an active duty Police Officer with a decade of experience in various aspects of Law Enforcement including being a part of multiple teams and task forces, and over 7 years as a defensive tactics instructor for a Law Enforcement Training Academy in Nashville, TN. In addition, he has been awarded several commendations from the Chief of MNPD to include a commendation for Service of Excellence for his exceptional performance of duty and Specialized Expertise.
Joey currently holds instructor certifications in Strategic Self Defense & Gunfighting Tactics, Effective Fitness Combatives, Axon Taser, Advanced Forensic Man Tracking, and more. Click on the link for a full resume..
